Furniture assembly & installation in Koh Samui

Delivered furniture assembled properly — level, solid, and anchored where it should be.

Furniture assembly and installation concept for homes on Koh Samui

Furniture arrives on Koh Samui in boxes: flat-pack from IKEA or HomePro, pieces ordered from Bangkok showrooms, or imports that spent weeks at sea. We assemble and install it the way the maker intended — every fitting in place, doors aligned, and nothing wobbling on a tiled floor.

Imported and delivered furniture is its own kind of job. A container consignment or a pallet of Bangkok showroom pieces arrives partly assembled, heavy, and sometimes already bruised by the ferry crossing. We install owner-bought furniture whatever route it took, and for bigger deliveries it is worth booking us for the day it arrives, so unboxing happens under cover and nothing sits out in the weather. The buying side of that journey is a guide of its own, linked further down this page.

Check condition before anything is signed. Boards, mirrors, glass and the hardware packets are the usual casualties, and a claim against a store or shipper is only as strong as the photos taken while the packaging is still there. If we find damage or missing parts mid-job, we stop and agree the next step with you before going on. For hillside villas, mention the access when you book; a steep concrete track decides how a wardrobe reaches the bedroom.

It's a straightforward service done carefully. We check parts against the manual before starting, protect your floors while we work, level each piece, and anchor anything tall to the wall. When we leave, the packaging is broken down and the room is ready to use.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be home during assembly?

Someone should let us in and confirm where each piece goes. For larger jobs we can agree access with your villa manager or building instead — tell us what suits you when you enquire.

Can you anchor furniture to concrete or brick walls?

Yes. Most walls on Samui are concrete, brick, or block, and tall furniture should be anchored to the wall rather than left freestanding. We use masonry fixings suited to the wall and check what it's made of before drilling.

Do you assemble furniture from any store or brand?

Yes — flat-pack and delivered furniture from any store, including pieces ordered from the mainland or overseas. If the instructions are missing, we work from the parts and fittings.

Can you disassemble and reassemble furniture for a move?

Yes. We take furniture apart, keep the hardware labelled, and reassemble it at the new address. Mention both locations in your enquiry so we can plan the day.

What if parts are missing or damaged in the box?

We stop, show you, and agree the next step before going on — so you can claim with the store while the packaging is still there.

How should we reply?

Area or village — it helps us plan the site visit.

Sizes, rough measurements, links to furniture you've bought — and mention if you have photos; we'll ask for them by chat or email.
