Custom wooden doors & gates

Doors, Gates & Entrances

Solid teak entrance doors, pivot leaves, gates and interior doors — built plank by plank in our workshop and hung on site by our own crew.

Herringbone-pattern teak entrance door with a black smart lock in a teak frame

Doors are the heart of our workshop. Every leaf here started as sawn timber in Chaweng — laid up in plank, chevron, herringbone or layered patterns, framed in solid wood, and fitted with the hardware the design calls for, from concealed hinges to smart locks and pivot pins.

The set below spans entrances, driveway gates, sliding leaves and interior doors, with a few frames from the bench so you can see how they are made.

  • Double entrance doors in layered concentric teak panels with steel pulls
  • Full-height teak pivot entrance leaf standing open inside a bright hallway
  • Wide teak sliding double doors closed across a villa entrance in a teak surround
  • Matte black geometric-panel pivot door with a long steel pull
Painted finishes too — a geometric pivot leaf in matte black.
  • Pair of layered solid teak driveway gates between white walls
  • Teak driveway gates beside a matching layered pedestrian door at a villa entrance
  • Two chevron-pattern teak doors in solid frames along a plastered wall
  • Full-height teak double doors with vertical planks and a long steel pull
  • Teak plank door with a brass handle set between a stone-clad wall and dark panelling
  • Teak door with concentric rectangular pattern and lever handle in a solid frame
  • Horizontal-plank teak door with lever handle in a wide solid teak frame
  • Horizontal-plank teak door hung in its solid teak frame after installation
  • Wide teak sliding leaf on an exposed track beside a hinged plank door
  • Full-height teak plank door panel hung in a teak frame
  • Layered solid teak door standing in the workshop among benches and stacked timber
In the workshop — a layered leaf before finishing.
  • Slatted teak door standing upright in the workshop before delivery
  • Carpenters sanding layered teak door leaves on trestles in an open workshop
Sanding by hand before the finish goes on.
  • Carpenters fitting a solid teak door frame with slatted leaves waiting beside them
Frames go in first — leaves and architraves follow.
  • Hanging a chevron door on site — a short clip from the install.
  • A full-height pivot entrance door in motion.
